Becky Boley, R.N.

Becky has been with CarePro for 28 years. When she’s not helping patients and caregivers, she loves to fish, gamble and spend time with her family.

1)      Where did you go to school?

I graduated in 1981 from the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

2)      How many years have you been working for CarePro?

I will be starting my 28th year at CarePro in May.

3)      What’s one of your favorite things about your job?

My favorite thing about my job is: knowing that the effort that I put into my work is directly related to the quality of services that we provide. I love knowing that we have the freedom to make our own decisions on the care that we provide – based on best practice. We are as good as we let ourselves be. It is nice to know that these decisions are not in someone else’s hands.  I also truly enjoy the people that I work with. They share the same values and goals.

4)      What do you like to do on your days off?

When I do take time off, I like to go fishing and gambling! I spend a lot of time with my parents – life is too short!

5)      If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would love to go to a remote area somewhere in the northwest – to a cabin in the mountains, on a lake where I can fish and relax.  No phones, no TV, no computer.  That would be heaven!
